Is there a way to generate a list of all the fonts I have on my PC (XP) and what they look like?

F'rinstance, in Word when I select a font, the drop down has the font names in each actual font, which helps me to pick one.

In Photoshop, the font list is all in the same font.

But it's in Photoshop that I want to play around and use different fonts.

[E2A: This bit of freeware did the job (thanks [info]gwynf!)]

Sorry I can't help you with this as I don't use photoshop.

The question "Is there a way to generate a list of all the fonts I have on my PC and what they look like" doesn't specify any software. I'm open to whatever is necessary for a quick and effective solution.

My head said "VBA". Google says: http://www.vbaexpress.com/kb/getarticle.php?kb_id=487

Assuming you have something office-y to run that on.

Thanks - I did find some freeware, or rather a friend pointed me at it - and I now have 7 pages of printout which I will keep to hand for reference.
